    Preliminary results of the performance data of the main Electricity Regulatory Commission and Cogeneration indicators, showed that the duration of the electrical outage per consumer averaged 163 minutes over the past year in 2014, compared with 192 minutes during the previous year 2013 improved by 15 percent.
    The electricity and Cogeneration regulation Authority will publish the results of performance indicators after the completion of the data performance indicators audit and then hold workshops, to make sure that the data collection and calculation of performance indicators process has the correct format.
    In the same context, the organization of the electricity and Cogeneration Authority preparing during the month of April to start checking the performance indicators licensed data in 2014, which will include the audit process, the Commission analyzed the data and implementation of field visits and interviews with licensees, access to records and systemsinformation for that data to issue the necessary audit reports stage.
    This comes within the framework of the continuous improvement of the performance of licensed electricity activities and to ensure the quality of electric service and reliability, within a continuous efforts to respond to consumer demands and to address their grievances as the focus of the organization chain, in addition to achieving licensed electricity system and to follow the conditions licenses granted committed to.
    It is noteworthy to mention that the organization of the electricity and Cogeneration Authority has established a regulatory framework for the performance indicators for the various electricity industry activities of generation, transmission and distribution services subscribers based on global best practices and applications in this area and in consultation with all licensees, which contain 26 indicator for these activities, while the body works annuallyto measure these indicators for licensees to monitor their performance and compare it to the goals set.
    Monitoring and scrutiny of performance indicators data for licensed in 2014 include a group of the most important indicators for each sector, where seven indicators data will be auditing sector generation, which comes from the most important of the readiness of generating units and productivity to meet the demand for electric power, and the rate of exit forced units and planned, in addition to the seven auditindicators data for the transport sector, including the energy supplied and the rate and frequency of interruptions, while there are four indicators for the distribution sector the most important are the repeated interruptions per consumer rate and duration.
    With respect to the active service of the subscriber, eight indicators scrutiny planned of the most important data necessary to connect the electrical service to a new joint time, and the time needed to restore electrical service after payment, in addition to the rate of the number of complaints and the time required to solve them.
